Kinsight benefits from Kiewit’s kindness

Fred Rogers once said, “We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It is easy to say, ‘It’s not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem.’ Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes.”

At Kinsight, we concur with Mr. Rogers, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our heroes – Kiewit and friends!

In September, Kinsight received $50,000 as a recipient of Kiewit’s Golf Classic Charity Golf Tournament. The tournament raised $100,000, and proceeds were divided between Kinsight and Backpack Buddies, another not-for-profit organization that supports children in our communities.

“We are incredibly humbled by Kiewit’s continued generosity to Kinsight and the children, youth and adults we support,” explains Christine Scott, Kinsight CEO. “Kiewit’s generosity will go a long way in helping us create more welcoming spaces that better meet the needs of the individuals and families we work with each year.”

Kiewit is long-time supporter of our community and is a founding donor of the Tri-Cities Children’s Centre, which opened in 2022 by Kinsight and SHARE.

Our sincere thanks to Kiewit for their big-hearts and generous donations to Kinsight and the community we support.
