Call for Kinsight Board Members: Help Create Welcoming Communities for All!

If you are passionate about creating communities that welcome all people, consider joining Kinsight’s Board of Directors.

Kinsight is inviting volunteers to serve on our Board. You will be joining a team of committed leaders who share our vision for a world where “Everyone’s Welcome. Everyone Belongs. Everywhere.”

For almost 70 years, Kinsight has worked alongside families of children, youth and adults with developmental delays or disabilities to support growth, development and personal well-being. We work with more than 2,000 families and individuals a year in the communities of New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore, Belcarra and surrounding areas.

This is a particularly exciting time to join our Board. In the last couple of years, we have celebrated some significant milestones including the completion of the Tri-Cities Children’s Centre and a series of inclusive and affordable housing initiatives. We continue to work on additional real estate developments that provide inclusive and affordable housing for people.

Board Directors meet monthly and provide governance and oversight. As a Director, you join a team of members with a wide range of expertise, including individuals and families with lived experience with a developmental disability, finance, education, communication, legal and health professionals. We are looking for people who share our vision, and have complementary skills and interests, including real estate development, and additional representatives with lived experience, health and education backgrounds.
