Kinsight receives top accreditation decision

Kinsight is pleased to share that we have received a three-year accreditation from CARF – an independent and international accreditor of health and human services. The accreditation process is an important part of Kinsight’s continuous quality improvement program. Through accreditation, our organization has an opportunity to demonstrate how we meet international standards for service and to identify areas for ongoing learning.

Following our 2024 survey, which took place September 4-6, we received the highest accreditation decision possible. The CARF report included a summary of Kinsight’s strengths some of which included:

  • The organization is complimented on its innovative and forward-thinking services. The staff members, persons served, families and caregivers consistently commented on the organization’s flexibility, adaptability and communication in providing services. Stakeholders feel a sense of inclusion and indicated that this is due to the level of commitment illustrated by the organization and staff.
  • [Regarding housing] Persons served expressed high levels of satisfaction with their homes and said they have the right balance of autonomy and support to foster an improved quality of life.
  • It is evident that a spirit of teamwork has been cultivated. The staff members have a sense of camaraderie and are bound by a shared commitment to serving the persons. Staff members are passionate and work together to make sure they deliver a high quality of service.
