Transition Services: Provincial PWD Benefits

This is a Transition Services session related to Provincial PWD Benefits: What They Are & How to Apply.

Did you know that youth and adults who have a disability may be eligible to begin receiving provincial PWD benefits (which include financial, medical, and dental assistance) at the age of 18 years?

This session will include a presentation on the application process and what to expect during the process (simplified & full application), as well as information on benefit amounts, allowable assets, the bus pass program, and earnings & limitations.

This session is suitable for parents/caregivers of youth and/or adults aged 16 years and up, as well as professionals who work with transitioning youth and/or their families.
